The number of followers of different religions in the world is studied by analysts. Based on surveys conducted in all countries of the world, a corresponding rating of religions and confessions by the number of followers was published. It includes such popular world religions as Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism and others.
Statistics show that Christianity remains the most popular religion. However, Islam has been number one in terms of growth in the number of followers for many years now (largely due to the fact that Christian families have far fewer newborns than Muslim families).
